I’m giving one lucky winner the chance to be written into the next Dead Serious adventure as a cameo character!
The winner will have the opportunity to choose their profession and whether they would like their character to be living or deceased. What would you choose? Do you want to be a detective alongside Danny and Sam? Hang out with Dusty as a spirit? Or would you choose to be a medium with Tristan?
And that’s not all! The winner will not only get the chance to be written in as a character in Case #3 Mr Bruce Reyes, but they will also get a mention on the dedication page and receive a signed paperback copy once it releases!
Plus, as the icing and sprinkles on the cake, I’m adding in a Dead Serious goodie bag containing all sorts of awesome Dead Serious swag: a set of DS character trading cards, a mug, a tote, stickers, bookmarks and a key ring.

True Colors United is a non-profit which began in New York in 2008 co-founded by Cyndi Lauper. Through a wide array of advocacy, training & education, youth collaboration, and technical assistance programs, True Colors United implements innovative solutions to youth homelessness that focus on the unique experiences of LGBTQ young people.
When I heard about True Colors I knew I wanted to help in some way. Every kid derserves a safe space to be their authentic self regardless of orientation or identity.
And so that is what the Dead Serious Character Event is all about, it’s a fundraiser to help LGBTQ+ teens who have been displaced and rejected simply for being themselves.
